Who we are?
The Building and Civil Engineering Contractors Association is a registered Trade Union with the Registry of Associations under the Industrial Relations Act, 1973 since 19th December 1996.
BACECA is the Trade Union of building and civil contractors. It is the very first alliance of contractors in Mauritius and to date, the only employers’ union of the construction sector.
Membership
BACECA is open to contractors
BACECA is open to contractors engaged in the design and execution of building and civil engineering works and in all other trades associated therewith.
Our members are regularly solicited for their opinions on relevant and/or current topics. Also, they are nominated to represent the Union at events as concerned professionals in the construction sector and express the position and argumentation concerning the main concerns of all. A spirit and teamwork are the essential elements to solve problems affecting the common interests of all members.
