Dear Current and Potential Members
It is my great pleasure to welcome you on the website of the Building and Civil Engineering Contractors Association. BACECA is a representative voluntary organization which specializes in collective bargaining and in the aggregation, definition, processing and promotion in the political arena of the collective interest and goals of its members through advocacy and social dialogue with Government and workers’ unions.
In joining the Trade Union, you support employers in playing a key role in creating jobs, increasing national wealth and improving living conditions in this industry. You participate in helping to create the conditions for enterprise success, productivity growth and economic development by influencing the environment in which construction enterprises do business and by providing services that improve individual performance.
Our main message is that contractors should be actively engaged on labour and social issues since these affect our business and the workers we employ. The best way to achieve such involvement is building a strong Trade Union that represents our views, the true voice of employers. As a result, enterprises will be able to operate efficiently and competitively. So let us all together promote the economic and social interests of the contractors!
